Monture modeste pouvant porter de lourdes charges, il \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9 pour le travail. C\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e9galement le compagnon de voyage des longs d\u00e9placements. L\u2019\u00e9vangile  proclam\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la b\u00e9n\u00e9diction des rameaux, nous rappelle l\u2019entr\u00e9e triomphale de J\u00e9sus \u00e0 J\u00e9rusalem. Il reprend les paroles du proph\u00e8te Zacharie\u00a0annon\u00e7ant la venue d\u2019un messie pacifique mont\u00e9 sur un \u00e2non : \u00ab\u00a0<em>Pousse des cris de joie, fille de J\u00e9rusalem\u00a0! Voici ton roi qui vient \u00e0 toi\u00a0: il est juste et victorieux, pauvre et mont\u00e9 sur un \u00e2ne, un \u00e2non, le petit d\u2019une \u00e2nesse.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb (Za 9, 9)<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&#8220;<strong>J&#8217;avance, comme l&#8217;\u00e2ne de J\u00e9rusalem dont le Messie,<br>un jour des Rameaux, fit une monture royale et pacifique.<br>Je ne sais pas grand&#8217;chose, mais je sais que je porte<br>le Christ sur mon dos<br>et j&#8217;en suis plus fier que d&#8217;\u00eatre bourguignon ou basque.<br>Je le porte, mais c&#8217;est lui qui me m\u00e8ne : je sais<br>qu&#8217;il me conduit vers son Royaume et j&#8217;ai confiance en lui.<br>J&#8217;avance \u00e0 mon rythme. Par des chemins escarp\u00e9s,<br>loin de ces autoroutes o\u00f9 la vitesse vous emp\u00eache<br>de reconna\u00eetre monture et cavalier.<br>Quand je bute contre une pierre, mon Ma\u00eetre doit \u00eatre<br>bien cahot\u00e9, mais il ne me reproche rien.<br>C&#8217;est merveilleux comme il est bon et patient avec moi :<br>il me laisse le temps de saluer la ravissante \u00e2nesse<br>de Balaam, de r\u00eaver devant un champ de lavande,<br>d&#8217;oublier m\u00eame que je le porte.<\/strong><br><br><strong>J&#8217;avance, en silence. C&#8217;est fou comme on se comprend<br>sans parler ; d&#8217;ailleurs, je n&#8217;entends pas trop<br>quand il me souffle des mots \u00e0 l&#8217;oreille.<br>La seule parole de lui que j&#8217;ai comprise semblait \u00eatre pour<br>moi tout seul et je puis t\u00e9moigner de sa v\u00e9rit\u00e9 : &#8221; Mon joug<br>est facile \u00e0 porter et mon fardeau l\u00e9ger.&#8221; (Mat. 11,30).<br>C&#8217;est comme, foi d&#8217;animal, quand je portais all\u00e8grement<br>sa m\u00e8re vers Bethl\u00e9em, un soir de No\u00ebl.
